Temperatures will be a little warmer this week, but we will have several chances of rain. Monday looks to be the best day of the work week with bright skies and warmer temps. The rest of the work week brings us a chance of showers each day. HOWEVER...things do clear out just in time for next weekend.
Tonight - Mostly cloudy skies and scattered showers. Lows will be in the 30s and 40s. Most places will see this precipitation fall as rain. Far northern Maine will see some snow showers with little to no accumulation expected.
Monday - Skies will become mostly sunny for the day. Still breezy through the morning, but the winds should let up a little during the afternoon. Clouds will take longer to clear in the mountains and far northern locations. An afternoon sea breeze will hold temps back to the mid and low 50s at the coast. Inland locations will warm into the mid and upper 50s. Some places in western Maine may see highs around 60.
Monday Night - Clouds increase once again and rain will start to move in after midnight. North of Bangor will see some mixed precipitation and some snow.
Extended Forecast - Overnight precipitation tapers to showers Tuesday morning. Skies will be mostly cloudy, but we could get some partial clearing into far SW locations late Tuesday afternoon. Another round of showers possible Wednesday morning with partly sunny skies. Unsettled weather continues through Friday. High pressure then builds in for the weekend providing us with brighter skies.
