An area of low pressure that was located near New York City this afternoon brought us a mix of wet snow and rain today. The storm is expected to track westward tonight and merge with another low moving east from Michigan. Snow will continue tonight and then taper off after midnight. It may change back to rain before ending Thursday morning. With low pressure still in our vicinity don't look for any clearing once the precipitation ends as clouds will dominate the sky. A few rain showers are possible as well. Friday isn't looking much brighter as low pressure remains over the maritimes keeping plenty of moisture in the air. The only good thing I can say about the weekend is there are no major storms expected.
