A weak ridge of high pressure supplied us with some pleasant weather to end the work week and now that high is going to move into the maritimes tonight and Saturday. A pair of low pressure systems will follow the high both playing a role in our weather. One low is expected to track by to our south Saturday night into Sunday putting us on the northern fringe of the storm. About 1-3 inches of snow is all we can expect from this system. As it pulls away on Sunday the second low will take over keeping the snow going into Sunday night. Right now it's looking like a 5-9 inch snow event and the snow should be a lot wetter than it was the last two storms with a lot less wind. The second low will be east of us by Monday morning allowing for partial clearing and Tuesday is looking to be a pretty nice day as well. Another storm is in the cards for Wednesday and it is looking to be a messy affair with snow or rain likely.
