Some slippery driving is possible over the interior tonight and Saturday morning. The weekend won't be a total loss however.

A weak warm front will spread some light precipitation across our region tonight. Coastal counties should see mostly rain from this but farther inland some sleet or freezing rain could lead to some slippery roads. The precipitation is expected to wind down late tonight with another round moving in on Saturday as a weak area of low pressure passes to our east. Once again this is looking very light and intermittent. High pressure is going to build in late Saturday night and bring us some sunshine on Sunday with temperatures reaching the mid 40s. That is what you call a bonus day. Another low will be approaching us Sunday night. This one is going to track up the Saint Lawrence Valley on Monday putting us on the warm side of the storm but before the warm air gets here a mix of snow, sleet and rain can be expected for the morning commute on Monday. Once this storm exits the northeast colder and drier weather will be with us for Tuesday and Wednesday.
