Very Quiet Weather Continues

I wouldn't fare well as a weatherman in San Diego ("San Diego... drink it in, it always goes down smooth. It's a fact, it's the greatest city in the history of mankind."); sunny and straightforward weather is NOT my thing.

It's not that I don't enjoy it; I do. It's just not at all challenging from a meteorological standpoint. And we know I like a challenge (why else would a 14 year old boy try to grow a mustache?)

Tonight: Clear and cold. Most of us will drop into the 20s by midnight with teens widespread over western and northern Maine by the early morning. Places like Berlin, NH and maybe even Fryeburg could drop into the single digits...somewhere around 8-9 F.

Sunday/Monday/Tuesday: All three days are mostly sunny and pleasant. Temperatures warm up a BIT by Monday afternoon with mid to upper 40s for highs as opposed to the low 40s of Sunday.

Sunday Night/Monday Night/Tuesday Night: Mostly clear and chilly. Sunday night will be the coldest, 21-29 F with gradually increasing overnight lows until the range is more like 30-35 F on Tuesday night.

By Wednesday we will see a few more clouds as a storm system meandering offshore east of the Midatlantic pushes some moisture in our direction. No big deal though.

Thanksgiving looks quiet with a mixture of sun and clouds and temperatures in the upper 40s.

Next chance of precipitation comes on Friday with a cold front that will likely bring some snow showers to the state.

In case you didn't notice, I'm going to hit you over the head with this Movember thing until you donate. It's for prostate cancer after all! Let's do this thing: http://mobro.co/keithcarson
