PARIS, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Paris Police, along with Brunswick and Bangor Police, are continuing with a missing person investigation Tuesday.

Arcadia Hospital in Bangor released 44-year-old Shirley Mills with instructions to return home to Paris in an arranged taxi cab on January 24. Officials believe Mills did not want to go home, but instead go visit a friend in Brunswick. At this point, no one is sure if Mills ever left Bangor or went to Paris or Brunswick.

Home-care providers who help Mills at her home alerted Paris Police on January 24 after not seeing Mills. Police have been checking Mills' home daily and have entered the residence. They have not seen Mills, but her home appears to be in order.

Paris Police Detectives ask anyone with information to contact the Paris Police at 207-743-7448.
