KITTERY, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- A student at Traip Academy in Kittery has been charged with terrorizing after allegedly threatening to kill other students and staff members at the school.
In a statement released to NEWS CENTER, superintendent Allyn Hutton says "At this time, every effort continues to be made to assure students, staff and parents that safety is the #1 priority in our schools. This unfortunate issue was immediately addressed according to our safety/crisis plan..."
Kittery police confirm the incident was reported to them two weeks ago. The student is a senior at the school and has been expelled.
