PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - Pitchers and catchers are still a couple weeks away from reporting to spring training, but that didn't stop Mainers from braving cold temps today.
Mainers braved the cold for a chance to see all three Boston Red Sox World Series trophies today.
The Red Sox caravan arrived at Hadlock this morning...with Wally the Green Monster delivering fans the newest addition, the 2013 World Series trophy.
After a brief ceremony in the plaza, fans had a chance to get up close and personal with the grand prizes of Red Sox Nation.
Fans had the opportunity to take their photos with the gold wonders.
Senator George Mitchell, a long time member of the Red Sox ownership group, said how happy he is to be bringing the trophies home to Maine.
The trophies make their way to Bangor and Orono on Sunday.
