PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER ) -- The annual Martin Luther King Day celebration in Portland is even more special than usual.
The Portland NAACP is celebrating its 50th anniversary. Every year the group holds a breakfast get together in King's honor.
This year, organizers have invited Bill Cohen to deliver the keynote speech. Cohen is a former Senator and Congressman from Maine and he also served as Secretary of Defense under Pres. Bill Clinton.
The breakfast begin at 8 a.m. Monday at the Holiday Inn by the Bay.
