UMaine hockey hammers BU at Frozen Fenway

BOSTON (NEWS CENTER) - The Maine men's hockey team scored four first period goals and first five of the game en route a 7-3 win over Boston University at Frozen Fenway. 

Devin Shore, Ben Hutton, and Ryan Lomberg each scored twice with Ryan Lomberg with Andrew Cerretani notching the Black Bears other goal.  UMaine scored seven goals in both games against BU this season.  The first time was a 7-0 at Alfond Arena on November 15. 

Martin Oullette made 31 saves to improve to 10-7-2 on the season.  The game was stopped for 70 minutes by a lightning delay eight minutes into the first period.
 
Maine returns to action when it hosts St. Francis-Xavier on Tuesday, Jan. 14. Puck drop is scheduled for 7 PM at Alfond Arena.
