LEWISTON, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- The Red Cross closed its emergency shelter at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee for the victims of the Lewiston fires at 10 a.m. Tuesday.

Out of the 179 people left homeless from the arsons on Blake, Pine, and Pierce Streets, all but 25 have found housing.

The City of Lewiston is now handling their cases. The Department of Social Services is putting them up in a motel in Lewiston until they find housing.

Hudson Bus Lines will continue to bus the children from the motel to their schools.

Bates College Dining Services will provide the seven families lunch and dinner until Friday.
