ADAIRSVILLE, Georgia (WXIA) -- One of the many volunteers working in the aftermath of last week's tornado is drawing a lot of attention, thanks to his boots and cape.
Dressed as Superman, the 25-year-old from Cobb County, Georgia has traveled to Adairsville and Calhoun to work for hours, helping victims clear debris from their broken homes.
He doesn't want us to tell you his name. He wants the focus to stay on his mission.
"I'm hoping to spread the message of compassion and friendship, something I believe is in short supply these days," he said.
When he was 9-years-old, he lost his mother to a fast spreading infection. He remembers fighting like his favorite super hero to keep her alive. After that, he turned his life to God.
