BRUNSWICK, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Brunswick Police are searching for a suspect in a stabbing that left one woman injured early Sunday morning.
Police responded to 9 Perryman Drive in Brunswick around 2:00 a.m. Sunday for the report of a stabbing. A 25-year-old woman was taken to Maine Medical Center with multiple stab wounds. Police say all of her injuries are considered non-life threatening. At the time of the stabbing, three small children were inside the apartment on Perryman Drive.
Authorities are searching for 31-year-old Jamie Mondragon from Auburn, who police say fled the scene before they arrived. He is believed to be driving a dark gray 2001 Lexus ES300 with Maine license plate 6276RP.
Police say Mondragon is still at large and is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to call Brunswick Police at 725-6623, ext. 167.
