Colorado mom killed over chores

AURORA, Colorado (KUSA) An Aurora, Colorado woman told investigators that she shot her mother after an argument about chores during a car trip according to Eagle County, Colorado court records.

60-year-old Penelope "Penny" Sue Cunningham, was found dead on a road outside Eagle, Colorado on Friday morning.

Sheriff's investigators say she was shot several times and was lying in the road in a pool of blood.

A passerby found the body.

Investigators tracked 28-year-old Traci Cunningham's car to Lakewood, Colorado on Saturday and arrested her at a bagel shop.

The arrest affidavit says Traci confessed to the crime.
