(WFLA) -- The US Coast Guard used a helicopter from Coats Guard Air Station Clearwater to find for two missing jet-skiers Monday morning four miles west of Hernando Beach.
Rescuers hoisted the two men from their jet ski and transported them to the Coast Guard Air Station in Clearwater.
Paramedics evaluated them at the station and took them to a local hospital with mild hypothermia. Doctors listed their condition as stable.
According to the USCG, two men went missing near Pine Island boat ramp Sunday evening.
A girlfriend of one of the missing men, both 22, reported him missing. They were both riding a purple jet-ski.
According to the USCG, the missing men didn't have lights, flares, radio or a cell phone, just life jackets and a whistle
Hernando County Sheriff's Office and Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission helped with the search.
