(KUSA) - A semi truck carrying cases of beer overturned on the ramp from Colorado Highway 58 to eastbound Interstate 70 Thursday, spilling its load.
Wheat Ridge police say it happened just before 12:30 p.m., shutting down the ramp for two hours.
The driver was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.
Police say the driver may have taken the curve too fast.
Cans of beer was scattered all over the shoulder of the highway.
Traffic was being diverted to westbound I-70 while crews cleared the debris.
