SEMINOLE COUNTY, Florida (WESH) -- A legally blind man who was acquitted in the shooting death of another man fought in court Thursday to get his guns back.
John Rogers said he has the right to have both of his guns returned to him. Police confiscated Rogers' 10mm Glock along with a rifle used to kill a 34-year-old man during a March 2012 fight. Rogers was granted immunity under Florida's "Stand Your Ground" law in January.
While the judge ruling in the case said he did not want to return the guns to Rogers, he said it was the law.
