(NBC) - Tomorrow is sentencing day for Jerry Sandusky. In June the former Penn State assistant football coach was convicted of sexually abusing ten boys over 15 years.

"We've known for a long time that the sentence the judge will impose in this case is going to be very lengthy, very significant," admits Joe Amendola, Sandusky's defense attorney.

The former Penn State assistant football coach faces anywhere from 60 to more than 400 years in prison.

Sandusky never testified.

The only time we heard from him was during a poorly handled interview with NBC's Bob Costas last November.

Amendola admits he regrets allowing that interview to take place.
