It was worth the wait for the Red Sox since they won the game 10-5 over the Rockies.

There were several other things that made that game exceptional.  It was the 600th World Series game ever played, and the first ever in Colorado.

Daisuke Matsuzaka also entered the record book that day as the first Japanese pitcher to start and win a World Series game.
