c. Twelfth Night

Paltrow was born on Sept. 27, 1972.  She was 26 when she won her Oscar for Shakespeare in Love.  Her role of Viola shares her name with the lead character of Twelfth Night.

In both the movie and the play, a key plot point involves Viola disguising herself as a man.  Cross-dressing was a recurrent theme in Shakespeare's plays including Cymbeline, Two Gentlemen of Verona and The Merchant of Venice.
