SANFORD, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Sanford Police arrested a man believed to be involved in a robbery on Wednesday at Sanford Institution for Savings on Main Street.
The robbery occurred Wednesday at approximately 2:35 p.m. The original report said a male had entered the business, displayed a firearm and demanded money from a teller. The suspect fled on foot. An undisclosed amount of money was taken.
Police say Clint Deming, of Sanford, was taken into custody Wednesday evening without incident. He was charged with robbery. He is being held at the York County Jail with a bail set at $25,000.
