HERSHEY, Pennsylvania (NEWS CENTER) - A Dane Byers goal less than four minutes into the third period proved to be the difference as the Portland Pirates lost for the fifth time in six games, 2-1 at Hershey.

Brandon Yip's fifth goal of the season 6:14 into the second period negated the Bears lead from the game's opening goal scored just 52 seconds prior.

Despite Louis Domingue's 34 saves, the goaltender lost his 7th straight game.

Portland (16-21-7-2) is off for the AHL all-star break when they'll resume play at Adirondack next Friday.
