BRUNSWICK, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - The 19th ranked Bowdoin men's basketball team couldn't overcome 15 three-pointers against visiting Amherst as the #3 Lord Jeffs beat the Polar Bears 70-67.

Andrew Madlinger's 19 points led Bowdoin as four Polar Bear starters to scored in double-figures.  The fifth, Camden Hills alum Keegan Pieri, had eight.

The Polar Bears outrebounded Amherst 40-19, but turned the ball over 18 times.  The Lord Jeffs committed just five turnovers.

Bowdoin (17-2) will have their final regular season home game on Tuesday against Plymouth State.
