HERMON, Maine (AP) - Maine State Police say a 47-year-old man has been killed after his car ran off Interstate 95, down an embankment into a ditch in Hermon.
Thomas Ellingwood of Hampden died in the crash around 2:45 p.m. Monday. He was his vehicle's only occupant.
Ellingwood was in driving in the southbound lane of I-95 when his car went down the embankment. It rolled over several times before coming to a stop in a ditch.
Troopers say weather was not a factor and the accident is being investigated.
