Goodness, what a day...eh? Lots of sunshine, light southerly breezes and mighty mild temps! Gotta love November so far! Changes coming however (back to November reality...)
Spying the radar as of late Saturday afternoon, I see some showers (both rain and snow) starting to appear as a cold front approaches. Clouds will continue to thicken this evening, followed by some periods of rain and snow showers as the front makes its way through Northern New England. Sunday will get off to a rather dreary start with clouds, rain and snow showers expected, but as the front makes its way to our east drier air will flow into our neighborhoods on north to northwest winds. That northwest flow will also steer some much cooler air into the Pine Tree State; after a day that brought balmy 60s across Maine, Sunday will bring highs only in the upper 30s to low 40s (brrrrr!)
Our weather pattern will stay tame and brisk through the next couple of days; I do anticipate milder air returning (mid 50s) by Wednesday and Thursday.
