(NEWS CENTER)-- The Red Sox opened a 9 game homestand and welcomed the Orioles to town for the first of three. What a night for Shane Victorino. The man nicknamed the 'flyin hawaiian' hit two home runs and drove in a career-high seven runs to lead the Sox to a lopsided 13-2 win. Victorino also had a two-run double in the seventh, and Dustin Pedroia had three hits for Boston in the win. Felix Doubront was the beneficiary of all of the run support and pitched 6 2/3rds innings of four-hit ball. Before the game, Baltimore sent Maine's Ryan Flaherty to the minors and they are expected to call him back up on Sunday when major league rosters expand to 40 players.
