A slow moving area of low pressure is going to bring some big changes to our weather picture over the next 36 hours. The system was located well top our south on Tuesday so we managed another sunny day with summer like temperatures away from the coast. Wednesday most likely will get off to a foggy start and then as the fog burns away it will be replaced by high cloudiness moving up from the south. A few showers are possible in southern New Hampshire and southwest Maine but not until late in the day. Showers are more likely Wednesday night into Thursday as the storm system gets closer to our region. The low is expected to slowly lift by us on Friday only to be followed by a slow moving cold front that should keep the threat of showers in our forecast for Saturday and Sunday.
