High pressure remains in control of our weather and should keep us dry through Wednesday. I do expect widespread fog to develop tonight but this should burn away quickly Tuesday morning leaving us with mostly sunny skies. More fog is likely Tuesday night and this probably will take longer to dissipate on Wednesday as clouds from an approaching low pressure system cut down on the sunshine. Temperatures both Tuesday and Wednesday should range from the low to mid 60s on the coast to around 80 well inland. By Thursday the low pressure system will be close enough to bring us some badly needed rain. The precipitation doesn't look to be very heavy at this point but every little bit will help. The low is expected to move very slowly once it gets here so several days of unsettled weather can be expected with the threat of showers lasting into the weekend.
