ALFRED, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - A judge heard evidence today in a wrongful death suit filed against the man who killed two brothers in Biddeford back in 2009.

The mother of Derek and Gage Greene is asking for more than 4- million dollars from Rory Holland.

In the spring of 2009 there were several confrontations between Cole's sons and Holland. On June 30th Holland grabbed a gun, walked outside his Biddeford home and shot and killed the two young men.

In the months and years that have passed Holland never once apologized or took any responsibility for his actions.

Tammy Cole says she doesn't expect to get much money out of Holland, but that's not why she filed the suit.

"I know its making him upset. While he's sitting in there he's mad and i'm glad because he should be. I'm a mess, I want to make him unhappy. He made me unhappy for the rest of my life so I'm going to do it to him", Cole says.

Holland had the option of attending today's hearing, but when the transport van arrived at the prison he refused to come out. The judge told Cole he will issue his ruling soon and he expects the judgement to include a large sum of money.
