SCARBOROUGH, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -  Police in Scarborough say they have arrested a man accused of recording images up women's dresses in Walmart.

31-year-old William Tibbals of Saco, was arrested Friday night, and charged with visual sexual aggression against a child under 12 years old. He was also charged with many counts of violating privacy.

Police say in July, Walmart customers reported a man had a camera in his shoe and was recording images either up or under women's skirts or dresses.

Police say that the arrest comes after a lengthy investigation and that both Saco Police and Maine State Police Computer Crimes Unit participated in.

Tibbals is being held at Cumberland County Jail.
