BOSTON - The University of Maine men's ice hockey team fell to seventh-ranked Boston University 1-0 on Saturday night at Agganis Arena in Boston, Mass.

Boston University jumped out to a 1-0 lead at 7:13 of the first period when Garrett Noonan had his shot from the left face-off circle beat Maine goalie Martin Ouellette (St.-Hippolyte, Quebec) on the power play. Danny O'Regan and Alexx Privitera both assisted on the goal. The goal turned out to be the eventual game-winner.

Late in the second period, Boston University had a great chance as Cason Hohmann had a breakaway. The officials ruled that he was interfered with and a penalty shot was awarded. Ouellette made the save on Hohmann and the game remained 1-0.
