CANTERBURY, N.H. (AP) -- A hospital spokeswoman says at least nine people with non-life-threatening injuries are being evaluated following a multiple-vehicle pileup on Interstate 93 in Canterbury.
Nursing supervisor Angelique Dixon at Concord Hospital says most of the injured are expected to be treated and released from the hospital.
The total number injured was not immediately known. No fatalities have been reported in the accident. Calls started coming in at 12:26 p.m. Saturday and the pileup temporarily shut down the southbound side of I-93, just north of Exit 18. Police said it was snowing at the time.
Traffic is now moving in the southbound lanes.
