FALMOUTH, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Garden expert Paul Tukey of safelawns.org says if you have to protect your shrubs during the winter, you may have planted them in the wrong place.  Still, he says there are some shrubs that needs protection from heavy snow falling off a roof, or from road salt sprayed by passing cars.

You can always wrap them in burlap, or place wooden A-frames over them, but click on the video to see some new products on the market.  They are available at most garden centers.  These came from Skillins in Falmouth.
