FALMOUTH, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- It's going to be a beautiful weekend to fertilize your lawn. If you are thinking of swtiching to an organic fertilizing system but aren't sure how to do it, garden expert Paul Tukey has a product line from new Hampshire that takes all the guesswork out of organics.

It was developed by a man in New Hampshire by the name of Tom Kelley. He is the founder of one of the largest lawn care franchises in New England. But he felt bad about the chemicals he was putting into the environment, so he started a different company called Fire Belly Organics.

He has developed a six step program that takes the guesswork out of organics.

The system comes in 1 quart spray bottles. The company  mails you 2 quarts at a time  during the time of year you are supposed to use them.

They are biological amendments, not just fertilizers. The system is very cost competitive with chemicals. It's super easy and safe to apply.

One container does 4 thousand square feet of your yard. Each bottle comes with own sprayer. You hook it up to a hose and spray, evaluating how much of the bottle you are using, so that you cover 4 thousand square feet with each quart.
