Police arrest four in connection with home invasion in Frenchville

FRENCHVILLE, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - Maine State Police arrested four people in connection with a home invasion and beating on Route 1 in Frenchville Saturday night.

Police say late Saturday night four men broke into the house of twin brothers Brian and Jason Marquis.  Brian Marquis told police the men assaulted both of them and then made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Jason suffered serious head and facial injuries.  He was taken to first to Fort Kent Hospital and then transferred to Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor.

Early Sunday morning, police arrested four men: Daniel Rockhold, 21, Nicholas Michaud, 27, Seth Castonguay, 20 and Jeff Cashman, 31.  All four are from Van Buren.

They're being held at the Aroostook County Jail in Houlton on charges of Aggravated Assault, Robbery and Burglary.
