Show number: 2010-16

Fun show this week. It was funny to me how many people in the newsroom had never seen Mt. Kineo! It's a cheap trick, but standing in front of a wonderful geological feature like that always works!

Segment one. The Cochranes. Wow! I bet they don't watch a lot of cable. They are really active and fun people. Here's their website if you'd like to know more or if you're thinking of making a trip.

I really like the story on Brian Petrovek. (Can I say that?) Spending several hours with him gave me some perspective on the guy and I really enjoyed out time together. He's an interesting person with a tremendous hockey background.

The American Chestnut is making a comeback thanks to a small, but dedicated group of scientists. One of them is Glen Rea of Bangor who is Chairman of the Board of Directors of The American Chestnut Foundation.

And finally, Fiber College! Isn't my niece great? Her website, Ravelry comes first. Check out some of her patterns at:
