CUMBERLAND, Me (NEWS CENTER) -- Americans love their cars and that is evident at Cumberland Classics, a car show at which hundreds gather every Tuesday night.
230 turned out at Copp Motors for the last show of the year. There was a wide assortment of cars with special emphasis on American muscle cars.
Don McLean of Freeport brought a 1965 Malibu just like he drove after returning from Viet Nam. "I bought when I was down in Florida. I loved that car and now I've bought it back."
Ron Copp who puts on the show thinks people value their first cars. The cars they had when they were young. "Right now, it's the 50's and the 60's, it will probably go to the '70's and the '80s in ten more years."
